There is also a convenience store and post office, and a pub, beside the station at Rainford Junction. The nearest of Rainford’s bars is the family-run Star Inn, less than ten minutes’ walk away, which has a beer garden, a variety of real ales and a restaurant. A local landmark for over 190 years, The Bottle & Glass Inn exudes charm and welcomes guests with open arms. The area is popular for walks with a Linear park and Siding Lane Nature reserve. Renowned for its lavender fields, Inglenook Farm in Rainford offers shops, tearooms, and scenic dog walks.
