There is also the Kingsgate Shopping Park on the outskirts of East Kilbride, which is just a 10-minute drive away with stores such as Next, TK Maxx, Boots and the Nike outlet, all available for a touch of retail therapy.  

 

Commuter route

For those who need quick and easy access to the city, Cambuslang is exceptionally well connected. Newton train station is closest to our development, with frequent trains to Glasgow, arriving in the city in just 25 minutes. Heading along to the East, with plenty of trains during peak travel times, commuters can be in Edinburgh in an hour and a half via Cambuslang station, that’s just a five-minute drive away. The M74 can be accessed quickly, connecting Cambuslang across the central belt and beyond. 

 

Fantastic schools on your doorstep

Cambuslang has a fantastic selection of schools nearby. Newton Farm Primary is a short walk from the development, while St Charles’ Primary School is also close by. Uddingston Grammar School is an excellent option for your child’s higher education, ranked the number one school in Cambuslang on School Guide’s star rating.

The surrounding area of Cambuslang has a great selection of countryside walks to explore. In the opposite direction is Cathkin Braes Country Park, offering a mix of gentle strolls and more challenging walks and mountain bike paths. The main attraction at Cathkin Braes is the spectacular viewpoint spanning over the Clyde Valley, guaranteed to take your breath away all year round.
