The desirable town of Dunblane is situated just 5 miles north of Stirling and is the perfect place to settle down with family or enjoy a more peaceful lifestyle. Arguably one of the most beautiful towns in the country, this well-connected part of Scotland is ideal for families who love the great outdoors, as well as being equally great for those who enjoy the fast-paced city life.

Excellent for sports

As the childhood home of two-time Olympic gold medallist and Wimbledon champion, Andy Murray, it’s no surprise that Dunblane has first-class sporting and tennis facilities. Dunblane Sports Club is a great place for the whole family to get active and features four floodlit tennis courts, two mini courts and two squash courts, as well as a top team of sports coaches.  Keen golfers will be kept happy in Dunblane too, with Dunblane New Golf Club Ltd and Bridge of Allan Golf Club nearby. A new cricket pitch is also coming soon to the area, thanks to Dunblane Cricket Club. We were delighted to make a donation to assist the club and encourage more children to participate in the sport and we look forward to the first match at this new facility.

Scenic surroundings

Nestled in the heart of Scotland’s picturesque countryside, Dunblane is full of beautiful trails to explore. The Darn Walk takes around an hour and links Dunblane to Bridge of Allan, following the charming River Allan for most of the route. Laighills Public Park is also nearby and is a great place to walk the dog, or if you prefer something a bit more challenging, The Ochil Hills are just a short drive from Dunblane and promise breath-taking views across central Scotland.

Great for commuting

If you work in one of the cities across Scotland’s central belt, Dunblane is a great spot to call home. With excellent transport links nearby, including trains running directly to Glasgow, Stirling and Edinburgh and easy access to the M9 and M80 motorways, you’ll be perfectly placed to make the most of both town and country living.

Dunblane is a great spot for families to call home. On top of the beautiful scenery and sports facilities nearby, it’s also home to some of the country’s top schools. Dunblane High School was named The Sunday Times Scottish State Secondary School of the Year in 2019 and is located just a 10-minute drive from our Victoria Park development.
