We wish to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Assistant Designer / Layout Designer to join our Technical team.  The role will be based at our East Midlands region, reporting to the Area Head of Design.

 

You will be responsible for and be involved in a diverse range of duties and projects including preparation of Planning and Building Regulation Applications / Liaising with local Authorities, preparing design information and construction detailing, house type drawings, attending development and site meetings together with the necessary administration as will be required in connection with the duties associated with the Technical Department.

   

You should be fully conversant in Autocad software and, experience within the sector would be beneficial, while also having a good knowledge of Photoshop & Sketch up, Microsoft Word and Excel packages. Experience in the Layout design and preparation of Design packages for planning application is a crucial requirement for the role.
