Paul and Kristina Doran are enjoying life in rural Edinburgh after finding the home of their dreams thanks to Miller Homes.

Paul, an engineer at Miller Homes and Kristina, a speech and language therapist bought their dream home last summer at Miller Homes’ Roselea development in Rosewell, Midlothian. The couple selected a Yeats home, a detached four bedroom property with a beautifully bright kitchen and an open plan dining room. Paul said: “The kitchen dining room actually spans the full length of our home, which is a great spot for us to spend time together and is brilliant when we’ve got friends and family round.

Paul continued: “One of the elements we love most is the flexibility of our home – plenty of room for us and our German Shepard and space to grow. The number of windows also makes our home feel really bright and airy.”

Both Paul and Kristina work in Edinburgh so a property with a short commute was a necessity for the couple. Just four miles from the City of Edinburgh Bypass, Roselea is around 25 minutes by car to central Edinburgh and within 40 minutes by bus.

The moving process was stress free. Paul added: “Miller Homes completely took the stress out of buying a home. The sales team helped us every step of the way and not once did we feel out of the loop or have to chase anything up. All in all, an easy experience.”

The couple loved their new home so much that they even recommended it to a friend. “We were so impressed with the quality of the property and the look and feel of the development we recommended the same housetype to a friend, who has since bought at the site. It’s a brilliant community to be part of!”
